Greek restaurant on the Markgröningen market square. To take the order, the waiter comes right around the corner with an ouzo :) The food itself is very tasty. However, there is a deduction, as apparently massive savings are made on garlic. When I order a garlic bread as a starter, I expect (especially at a Greek restaurant) that it tastes like garlic too. Unfortunately it didn't. Just like the tsatsiki. It tasted like ordinary herbal quark. But this is where garlic belongs right now. Otherwise, the service is friendly and the prices are okay.

The food was delicious and the service was great too. There was an ouzo as a welcome and an ouzo afterwards (and both on the house). We felt very comfortable. Actually it would have been 5 stars, but we missed the garlic, hence a star deduction - but we weren't there for the last time :-)

Since the new chef arrived, we've been drawn to the Hermes regularly. Lush portions and the prices are also reasonable. You are warmly welcomed and there is enough space, either outside or inside in the restaurant. Here the customer is still valued. We love coming here to eat. PS: The beef liver is a poem!

Absolute recommendation! The menu came with ouzo. We had the fish plate and a shank of lamb. There were mixed starters beforehand. The best was the grilled sea bream. But even the rice was top notch. We will be back.

Not recommendable! Ordered food today to pick up. Very small portions, for a very high price. The saziki had curdled. What a pity. Won't eat there anymore.

A small piece of Greece in the middle of Markgröningen. The restaurant knows how to satisfy its guests but not to overfeed. Food of very good quality. Portions plentiful. The great outdoor area invites you to sit outside in summer. Super nice, friendly and courteous service staff, who knows how to look after the guest without being too intrusive. Kitchen is on the ball, no other restaurant with the food so fast on the table. Lunch at very fair prices. Gyros on Mykonos plate was good, steak with nice grill flavor even better, Tsatsiki to melt away, tomato rice decent and everything super coordinated! Appetizer salad very fresh and well prepared. In addition there was airy delicious bread. Inside, the seating area is manageable, outdoor area well maintained and sufficient seats available. Comfortable chairs in the outdoor area. Price-performance top! Always my pleasure!
